Kent Steedman is one of the most charismatic guitars from the Aussie rock. He´s been playing with his band THE CELIBATE RIFLES for more than 25 years all over the world. They made more than 15 records full of HIGH ENERGY ROCK & ROLL (“Platters du jour”,”Roman beach party”,”Kiss kiss bang bang”…).

Kent is an alive legend: apart from The Rifles he has played with Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman), Ed Kuepper (The Saints), and with Rob Younger in the New Christs. Back in the 90´s, Kent recorded a few records and did a lot of touring with Yage, the band he founded with the Pascali brothers (A-10). As a producer, he’s worked with Mudhoney, Asteroid B612, Mr T-experience, La Secta…

In 2005 Kent toured Spain backed by an "all star" band featuring four members of some celebrated Spanish rock acts like Sex Museum, Los Coronas, Bummer, etc. These gigs were an amazing experience, with the band playing the best of the Australian rock (covers from Radio Birdman, The Saints, AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Sunnyboys, Rifles, Bored!, Cosmic Psychos and many more…) and a few originals. This CD +  DVD from KENT STEEDMAN & THE TUBULAR GREENS is a great document of that great tour,  capturing Kent and his boys live at the "infamous" and emblematic venue Gruta 77 (Madrid, Spain) in a hot performance full of passion and energy.
